The draft Grant County Comprehensive Plan is now available. This document replaces the 2004 version and will be presented to the County Commission for approval, with minor changes considered as appropriate. This draft incorporates public and stakeholder input, and meets the required elements set forth for a Comprehensive Plan by the State of New Mexico. We would like to thank everyone for their input. General comments may be submitted to kwoods@bhinc.com by June 2. The Plan can be accessed here:

  • 24 May 9:00 AM - Special Meeting.    The Grant County Board of Commissioners will convene in a Special Meeting on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will take place in the Commission Meeting Room at the Grant County Administration Center located at 1400 Highway 180 East, Silver City, NM 88061. The purpose of the meeting is for disclosure regarding the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for operation of the Cancer Center at Gila Regional Medical Center. The agenda for this meeting may be altered up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the meeting; copies can be obtained from the County Managerís Office or viewed online at www.grantcountynm.com.
