Fees for service in the Grant County Clerk's Office

All references refer to New Mexico statutes 1978, annotated, including any additional supplements.

FEES

Recording Fees (14-8-12B):
  • First Page of Document - $9.00
  • Additional Pages (each page) - $2.00(per page same document)
  • Grantee/Grantor per each additional - $5.00 (per same document)
Plat Fees and Requirements
  • Original Mylars (2 plats required) - $10.50
  • Additional pages $10.50
UCC Filing Fees - (55-9-525)
  • Ucc Document of one, two or three pages - $20.00
  • Ucc Document of at least 4 pages but no more than 25 pages - $40.00
  • Total number of pages exceeding 25 pages - $100.00
  • For each page which exceeds 25 pages - extra $5
Note that this office only records ucc's that deal with real estate, all others are handles by the Secretary of States Office.

Copies
  • Charge Per Copy - $0.25
  • To Certify any document - $1.00 plus $0.25 per page
  • Faxing - $10.00 plus $0.25 per page
  • Plats/Surveys
    • 18x24 - $5.00
    • 24x36 - $6.50
    • Assessors office tax plats - $3.25
      *Note larger size plats are available upon request
  • Marriage License - $25.00
  • Business Registration - $25.00
  • Liquor Licenses - $250.00
  • Probate Filing:
    • New Probate Document -  $30.00
    • Probate Packets -  $5.00
